Dagmar's Home Thrifty & Vintage Finds Link Party

Before I show you all the thrifty treasure I found today, I want to welcome you to a new feature on Dagmar’s Home: my “Thrifty & Vintage Finds” Link Party!

Feel free to link up any thrifty or vintage treasure you found — I want to see them all!

I’m thinking of running this link party on Saturdays or Sundays, but I’m not sure if you are all too busy during the weekend to have time to link up.

Which day of the week would you prefer? Please let me know in a comment.

I will leave the linky open for a week, so there is ample time for you to blog about your find and link up.

And I will feature one of my favorite posts in my next “Thrifty Finds” link party.

How to link up:

  • Please add the party button to your post {see code below} or a link back to this link party so others can be inspired to join in the fun.
  • No links to giveaways, or shop or Etsy sites.
  • By submitting a link to this party you are authorizing for your project to be featured. Featured links will include a photo and a link back to the originating site.

Now to what I found today:

thrifting treasures from yard sales

After we had breakfast at Panera this morning, I dropped off Landon and Don at my brother-in-laws house.

I wasn’t able to get my iPhone fixed, which is stuck in some annoying reloading mode, but the good news was that I found five garage sales on the way back home! It was like a treasure hunt — I just kept following the signs.

I bought four hand-sewn traveling bags, two vintage milk bottles, a cool wall magazine rack, two little frames (for 25 cents each!), a vintage spool, and more.

My favorite find of today: this wooden, hand-painted wreath, for just $1!

wooden, painted wreathI think it’s so pretty, in kind of a kitschy way. I love that someone hand-painted this and I can already see this hanging above our house door in December.

I’m doing a DIY project with a vintage kids book, and this one for 50 cents was just what I needed.

Have you scored a thrifty or vintage treasure lately and blogged about it? Then link up so we can all see your find!

And maybe I’ll feature your post on my next “Thrifty & Vintage Finds” Link Party.

Congratulations on your first linky party! In response to your question, I’m not sure the day of the week it starts on matters when you’re going to keep it open all week long because it gives everyone the chance to link up at their convenience, which is great!

Thanks for hosting and best wishes for great success with your parties!
