I had been looking for this kind of desk for Don, something that doesn’t take up a lot of space and looks neat because you can hide the bills when you are not using it. And how perfect is that display case.
$250? Sold! I didn’t even haggle because this piece was going to go fast.
On Sunday we went to the Katonah Diner for breakfast. Afterward, I had to pick up something at the hardware store, and when I followed Don and L to the Little Joe’s kid’s bookstore, I walked past this.
I swear free books find me.
All of these came home with me. That old book by Martha Stewart cracks me up — she is my Katonah neighbor here.
Think she might want this back? If not, I’m selling it on my Etsy store, as a vintage treasure :)

He had bought L some used kids golf clubs and L was all into it, so we went to a miniature golf place to sharpen our skills.
