I’m finally sitting down — after being on my feet the last two days, loading and unloading boxes full of my candles and gift baskets in and out of the car, and standing behind my table for 12 hours at the craft fairs.
Being a vendor at my first two craft shows was fun. I received a lot of compliments on my unique candles in teacups and other vintage cups, and I sold about half of my items, which I was happy with.
Landon was a great little helper both days, helping me set up and clear out, and he stayed with me for a few hours both days. He was into wearing his coin machine, and today he drew a picture to fill the time.
Don had L the rest of the time, so a big shout-out for being supportive of my newest entrepreneurial venture.
I’m looking forward to my third holiday craft fair next Saturday at Tilly Foster Farm in Brewster.
After that I’ll be concentrating on getting my candles into more gift stores in Westchester and Connecticut — I got some great leads today and can’t wait to pay those stores a visit.
