The Moms invited us to see Elf The Musical last week, and although it would mean we’d come back home really late on a school night, I decided it was worth the trip. Landon would really enjoy seeing a musical, even more so because he already knew the story.
We took the S train to Times Square and walked for a few blocks to the Al Hirschberg Theatre. We saw a lot of other bloggers with their kids, Aviva from the Housewives of New York City, and Melissa Joan Hart before we sat down.
L fell asleep on the train and he was in such a deep sleep that I couldn’t get him to wake up. But we had to get off, and he’s too heavy by now for me to carry him! He kept flopping over like a rag doll when I put on his jacket, and I was laughing so hard. I was able to get him on his feet just in time.
Life is all about creating special memories, right? I had a wonderful time with my little boy, and L had such a blast, he already started writing a story about the musical in his class. I can’t wait to read it.
