I found some amazing thrifty treasures lately! I bought this cute bust of a little boy for only $2.99.
And it immediately found a place in one of our bookcases, right between Landon’s German board books.
And I found these five vintage cups from England with saucers for $15, that adorable butter box for $1.49, and those shabby chic plates for $3.
I already made the cups into candles and posted them in Dagmar’s Home Decor (psst, all my items are 20% off until November 30 with code shopsmall20!).
But $20? Yes. Please! I was so thrilled for L that I showed him the box, and I wish I had a picture of his expression. He was so exited.
Another plus: see that little orange Lego man with the lights in his hands? That’s exactly who L wants to be when he grows up (aside from being a policeman and firefighter) — the guy who parks airplanes.
I keep telling him that those men need to do really well in school to do that job.
I guess finding this deal was meant to be.
Since I had a coupon for $5 off, I bought it for less than $20 after I added $8 snow boots L needed to the plane set. I just love thrifting.
