Wordless Wednesday — Quarter Collection

by Dagmar Bleasdale on August 14, 2012

A few weeks ago I bought a quarter collection holder at the dollar store — I thought it would be fun and educational for Landon to collect them.

Guess who seems to be even more into finding all the quarters of 50 states?

When Don comes home now, he yells: “Landon, get your collection, I have a few new quarters!” Last night I was able to get a few pictures of them while they were hard at work.

Makes for quality dad and son time.

Aww, what a fun hobby to share! I wonder if I still have my coin collections in the closet somewhere …

I LOVE this post, totally took me back to my child hood. I had one of those quarter games and my Dad always wanted to do it with me. Love that you did this, thanks for sharing

Ist das süß!!! Was für eine tolle Idee! Schön wenn Papa und Sohn sich so gut verstehen.

Wie geht es Dir? Bei uns hat die Schule wieder begonnen.

Liebe Grüße,

How cool. We started this when they first came out but we never finished it. Maybe we should do it with the boys.

I love the quarter collection. We have 3 books; one for each kid but I’ve forgotten about them so you’ve reminded me to keep adding the special quarters that I collect for them!
