Wordless Wednesday — Kindergarten Graduate

by Dagmar Bleasdale on June 5, 2012

I can’t believe it — Landon graduated from kindergarten today!

My little boy is going to be in first grade after the summer — where did the whole year go?

The kids performed all kinds of songs and poems they wrote, it was so adorable. Landon’s poem: “Soccer: Uniform, Ball, Cleats, Kick, Run, Goal, Soccer.”

And then the kids gave a flower to their moms. Of course I cried. But less this year than last year when he graduated from preschool.

I’m so proud of my little boy and looking forward to a fun-filled summer with L — I’m determined to pack it full of wonderful memories.

I’m on the list for Top Eco-Friendly Moms again and voting still goes on for 8 days. Every vote counts, the numbers are so close, so I hope you can spare a click for Dagmar’s momsense! Thank you for your support. I just need 10 votes to get to No. 6!

I remember the first day of preschool as if it was yesterday – so hard to leave the kids there! Hang in there, it get’s easier :)

Such an adorable pic of the two of you. As hard as it may be to think about, in a heartbeat, you will be at his college graduation. From our perspective, as nearly empty nesters, it goes by fast so enjoy every minute of it.

Thanks, Annie! Are you going to Type-A Parent Conference?

I have Type A Tickets and roundtrip airfare and a room booked, but nope, I cannot go. Coleman invited my family to an all-expense (ok not travel) paid camping trip! It breaks my heart that I will not be spending time with my blog friends, but this camping trip should be making some amazing memories for my family and me.

awww such a sweet shot. They grow ever so fast. Sounds like a great “ceremony.” Hubby and I were just thinking yesterday how glad we are we are able to homeschool or we’d be putting our Tabitha on the school bus in a few months for her 1st day of kindergarten.

Ach, meine liebe Dagmar, die Zeit vergeht so schnell! Herzlichen Gückwunsch an L! Ich kann es sehr gut nachempfinden, dass es Dich sehr berührt. Bin ganz genauso. :)
Ich wünsche Euch schöne Ferien. Bei uns haben sie leider noch nicht angefangen. :(
Liebe Grüße,
Verena
