Wordless Wednesday — Togetherness

by Dagmar Bleasdale on February 28, 2012

Landon and I went to Ikea the other day with my girlfriend and her two little girls. They are L’s “sisters.”

The girls call him their brother and L loves having siblings. Sometimes they fight like siblings :)

After an hour drive, we all had lunch at Ikea and then dropped off the kids for an hour at the playland. Mommy time! Heather and I have the same taste when it comes to interior decorating, so there was a lot of: “Oh, I love that!”

But we restrained ourselves, and after we picked up the kids and checked out, I wanted to stop at the shop with the fun Swedish food items — and the $1 frozen yogurt.

My girlfriend noticed the “Together” sign first. Yes, they belong together — brother and sisters. I really hope they will be friends forever.

Before you link up, don’t miss the opportunity to win $750 by just leaving a comment, and my $50+ Rudi’s Gluten-Free Bakery prize pack is still up for grabs until Sunday!

One of my favorite things about visiting IKEA is their restaurants. & I wish I were there right now, chowing down on some frozen yogurt!

Oh, what a sweet photo! I’m a huge IKEA buff and there is one about an hour and a half from us. Once we get moved into our house, I think we’ll be spending a day there :D

Such a sweet photo with ‘together’ in the background. We are huge IKEA fans – ours is just 10 minutes away, very very dangerous!

That’s really sweet that he thinks of those girls as his sisters. What a great coincidence to have that sign there!

Linked up, hope you’ll stop by and link up at my place!

They sure look like a family enjoying some together time and it’s great that they have a bond together. Some of my Mums friends children were like Siblings to me growing up and I always found it very reassuring.

How sweet! Das ist etwas ganz besonderes, wenn man zu seinen Freunden sagen kann, dass sie wie Geschwister für einen selbst sind. Sie werden sich bestimmt für immer so gut verstehen!

Liebe Grüße,
Verena

I just found your blog on wordlesswednesday.com, I love this picture with the sign in the background! I really miss Ikeas (we don’t have one in Hawaii, I guess that’s the exchange we make for beaches!) Happy Leap Day!

Great capture with the together sign. Looks like they had a great time with the icecream. Ikea is fun to visit, has some great prices, but the quality really varies ,some of it is fantastic but other stuff not too sturdy.

I love me some IKEA. :)

It’s so wonderful that your son has friends that are as close as sisters…

Happy WW!
