by Dagmar Bleasdale on January 10, 2012

Two days ago we got to touch a dolphin at SeaWorld in Orlando. Meeting this amazing creature was definitely one of the highlights of our trip.

I love SeaWorld! FYI The St. Louis Zoo has an incredible exhibit in the summer where you can touch stingrays and SHARKS! It was quite and experience.
BTW Found you through Katie Pinke. Glad to link up this week. Looking forward to reading more from you!

Ahh, I love Dolphins, such sweet creatures. They are so soft. Glad that you enjoyed your experience:-)

Wow, we were there almost at the same time. The dolphins were a highlight of our trip too. Feeding and touching dolphins at SeaWorld and meeting “Winter” from “Dolphin’s Tale” at the Clearwater Beach Marina is something we’re all still talking about. Poor Mickey…

What an experience! We’ve never touched one, but my son has played ball with one at Sea World.

Jenny K January 11, 2012 at 2:06 PM

Looks like so much fun! I can’t wait for my son to experience that!

Lolli @ Better in Bulk January 11, 2012 at 12:50 PM

So happy you got to cross that off your bucket list! :)

That is definitely a great opportunity. What a great shot. After reading Kathy’s comment I went back and looked again. Yep, looks like that dolphin is really grinning. Cute

Kathy January 11, 2012 at 2:26 AM

I love how the dolphin looks like it has this huge grin. What a fun time.

They are not slimy, but kind of wet and hard. We also touched stingrays, and they are definitely slimy.

I love dolphins! I remember years ago, we went through St. Augustine and there was a place (I can’t remember the name) and we were walking around and there was no one around and there was this dolphin in a pool all by himself. He had a pool ball and he literally nosed it up in the air to us and we played catch with him for a while. That was so neat! :)

Dagmar January 10, 2012 at 11:19 PM

Wow, that sounds amazing. They are definitely interested in attention, as we learned. I’ve been to St. Augustine 20 years ago, thanks for reminding me :)
