Wordless Wednesday — Prince With a Crown

by Dagmar Bleasdale on October 25, 2011

Please note: I’ve outgrown my current hosting company and am moving to another one. Dagmar’s momsense might act a little funny. Fear not — I’ll be back ASAP!

This is the “before” picture: Landon lost his crown last week.

Yes, he’s had two strip crowns since he was about a year and a half old. Long story.

Today we went to the dentist to see what needs to be done. I braced myself for this front tooth to finally go to the tooth fairy early (three years before his permanent tooth is coming in), but our amazing dentist Dr. C saved the day again.

He fixed the tooth and we’ll see him again in eight weeks. The tooth is still shorter than the crowned one before, but for now I’m very glad we didn’t have to pull it or have a root canal performed.

Poor little guy. At least he’s not scared of the dentist :)

We got good news at the dentist the other day after bad news before, too. It’s quite the relief, isn’t it? Also, I have to say I’m glad to find other kids with dental woes so I know we’re not alone!

Verena

Yikes! I’m glad for your son, too! That kind of dentistry is a lot for an adult, never mind a young child. You both must be relieved!

I’m so glad L gets to keep his tooth! You seem to really have an awesome dentist!
