Mckmama- Not Me Monday

Don’t miss this – enter my big giveaway!

$200 Cloth Diapers and Breastfeeding Supplies Giveaway!

I did NOT buy fish for the first time in my life because of MckMama’s latest cooking post. I want to surprise Don with cooking that exact meal.

I’m NOT hoping he’s not reading this before I can surprise him. He’s working a full-time and a part-time job right now and I want to show him how much I appreciate all his hard work. Wish me luck that I don’t overcook everything again!

I did NOT get stuck in a men’s room for 10 minutes at the Social Good Summit. Stuck. Couldn’t move or breathe because I didn’t want the men that came in after me to know I was there.

At first I was chuckling inside. I had been looking for a restroom before the first session, and after not being able to find one in a rush, I asked a young man where the restroom is. He told me to go around the corner and I walked right in.

There was no one else in there, but then I realized that something was wrong when a man walked in. A man?

I thought, no big deal, I’ll just wait until he leaves. And then another man came in.

“Hi, Paul.”

“How is everything?”

“I got a stress test yesterday. It went well.”

“Oh, that’s good.”

One of them left, but the other man stayed put — for minutes. Sounded like he was changing. Great!

And I didn’t want to say anything because what if I scare him so much, I’ll give him a heart attack — after his stress test! LOL

After what felt like five more minutes and me peeking to see if he was still there several times, I just had to say something.

“Hello? A man told me this is the bathroom, and I just walked in and I didn’t realize it’s the men’s room. Can I just walk by?”

“Sure thing.”

Phew! Was I glad to be out of there. And bathed in cold sweat.

Wasn’t funny after all to be stuck in a men’s room.

L did NOT fall asleep all by himself for the first time ever on Saturday. I had taken too long in the bathroom and wouldn’t you know it, when I went into his room, he was out. So that’s what it feels like to just be able to put your son to bed :)

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

Wow! I’ve walked in on accident before, but never had to stay! That’s one of those things that’s only funny after it’s over :)

*giggle* I have inadvertently walked into the men’s room before, but never gotten stuck. Thankfully!
