En route to BlogHer ’11, 4AM. I decided to call a car service so Don and L wouldn’t have to drive me to the airport in the middle of the night.
That’s a lot of drink tickets… 10 drinks for 3 nights? I’ll let you know how many I used. Can you guess?
Blogging on Seattle airport’s floor in between flights. I wanted to get that video loaded of L being excited about mommy going to BlogHer ’11, so I was one of the last people on the flight.
I met up with my roommate, Annie from PhDinParenting, and we went straight to the first event, Haute Green. I had been traveling for a day and was already exhausted, but now the fun part began!
It was wonderful to see Mama Dweeb and her little girl at this party that was organized by lovely Calley, who writes The Eco Chic.
I was quite in awe of all the moms who had bought their little ones to BlogHer, and all the pregnant and breastfeeding and babywearing moms I saw running around.
After that I headed to the Clever Girls Collective party “I’m With the Band” and meet Kelby Carr before going in. This lady knows all about blogging conferences — she created her own: the Type-A Parent conference.
The next day, I ran into another Westchester blogger — wonderful to see Holly, the Culture Mom.
The conference center is right next to the Marriott hotel we are staying in. L would love the view I have from my hotel room — trains go through Downtown San Diego all day (and night), so he’d have a lot of fun watching them.
More later, I’m boarding my flight to Seattle to get back home after three amazing days at BlogHer ’11…
