I Host a Breastfeeding LIVE Chat for MckMama 6/23 2PM!

by Dagmar Bleasdale on June 22, 2011

I’m so excited to announce that Jennifer, who writes the fabulous blog MckMama (My Charming Kids) has asked me to host a

LIVE chat about breastfeeding

on her MckMama BlogFrog forum tomorrow, Thursday, 6/23 at 2PM EST.

I’m a huge fan of Jennifer’s blog and try to catch up with it daily (as do up to 60,000 readers, wow!), and I’m pretty active in her BlogFrog community.

Remember those funny Not Me! Monday posts I loved to write? Her idea!

Jennifer and I are both moms and bloggers, we both speak German, and we both love to breastfeed our children — and that’s where the similarities end.

Jennifer has five little children, is a very talented photographer, and she is brave enough to travel in an RV named Happy Wheels through America with her husband, five kids, and a cat who just had two kitten (Pippin and Poppy).

I’m honored that Jennifer thought of me to host this LIVE chat about breastfeeding, the first one ever by another blogger on her forum, and that she trusts me to do a good job while she is RVing through the U.S for a while, from photo shoot to photo shoot, and somehow finds time to also blog about motherhood and her many adventures.

We decide to make the theme of this live chat:

“What helped you succeed with breastfeeding?”

What’s the one thing, or the two or three things, that made all the difference in you being able to breastfeed your baby? I will share what made all the difference for me.

Breastfeeding isn’t always easy – both Jennifer and I have struggled with it at times. We both know how important it is to get the right support and information in those first weeks after the baby is born, and even months into it, so hopefully this chat will help out a few moms while being a lot of fun!

This chat is for anyone interested in learning more about breastfeeding or struggling with breastfeeding.

Let’s all help each other with advice and support. Feel free to ask any questions or share your experience.
