Yay, after last year’s no-go, we have a picture with the Easter Bunny! I had been freaking out because I had hyped the Easter Bunny so much this year and then we missed the local Easter egg hunt — so I had to find another opportunity to see an Easter Bunny. Two occasions didn’t work out because L was in school, but after volunteering a few hours at Habitat for Humanity in the morning (I learned how to put down laminate flooring :) , I whisked off L to the Danbury Railway Museum in Connecticut to get on the Easter Bunny Train and see the Easter Bunny. We made it on to the last train ride for this year, after L fell asleep in the car five minutes before we got there and I had to lug him into the museum.
Don has taken L there twice before, and it really is a lovely little museum with small toy train setups and a lot of old actual trains. L didn’t want to have anything to do with the lovely girl that was putting temporary tattoos on kids.
I just woke up . . .
Okay, we are moving — I woke up!
After seeing the Easter Bunny — which took all of 30 seconds — L got a chocolate and a coloring book and ate the chocolate outside while watching some more toy trains. (Oh, I already know what my new Not Me! Monday is going to be about!)
Okay, and then I took this tired/wired boy to get a donut. We had to park at Dunkin’ Donuts across the street because there was no parking in front of the museum, so we didn’t have a choice, right?
Since I share basically everything on this blog, I thought I’d also mention that Landon won the “Cutest Baby of the Month” contest on TinyPlayground.com. Check out Mr. March! TinyPlayground.com is a great resource site for moms. Go ahead and post a picture of your cutie :)
Also, my most recent creation for New York City Moms Blog is running today on Easter! It’s called “Yes, We Co-Sleep. There, the Secret is Out. Let me know what you think, you know how much I love comments! By the way, did you enjoy the huge April Fools joke I was a part of at Silicon Valley Moms Blog?
