I did not tell Landon that Apolo Ohno is so fast on skates because he is eating his vegetables when we were watching a report about him before the Olympics and Apolo was shown eating broccoli. No, I did not take advantage of that moment to hopefully get my nursling to eat more vegetables. He is terribly picky when it comes to vegetables. On one hand I’m not too concerned because he is still getting all the vitamins he needs from breast milk, but then again he is eating so little vegetables because he is still breastfeeding so much. *sigh
Landon did not call out: “That Apolo! That man eat his vegetables!” last night while we were watching the Olympics’ closing ceremony. I was impressed that he even recognized Apolo since he wasn’t wearing his skating suit. We had watched some of his races together. I had to laugh so hard.
I did not buy zucchini twice only to throw it out because I was taking my sweet time to use it and it went bad. I bought the third batch and it’s not looking too good for those three zucchinis either. Unless I use them today. Which doesn’t look too good . . .
I always have the best intentions to make my Zucchini Carrot Bread, but it never happens. There is always something else that needs to be done. Okay, sometimes just sitting in front of the TV for half an hour before my men come back from their outing is more important. I can’t stand throwing out food, I’m too frugal and it’s so wasteful, but no one likes zucchini cooked in this family, so I end up tossing it.
Not Me! Monday is a blog carnival that was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.
